Letter from the Founder of The Rose Partnership, Mrs Stephanie Bell, MA (Oxon)

‘I am committed to offering parents a unique, highly personalised service, matching children with the opportunities that will enable them to reach their full potential. I bring both years of educational experience and an extensive network of partnerships and relationships with schools to The Rose Partnership – to support all those parents and children we work alongside.

‘After graduating from Oxford and working in banking in the City, I moved into the education sector, becoming Headmistress of two independent preparatory schools. I led Rydes Hill Preparatory School in Guildford, Surrey, for twelve years, attaining the top rating in every category in regulatory inspections (2011 and 2017) and establishing a track record of a high percentage of scholarships to senior schools, as well as the successful placements of hundreds of pupils at leading UK independent senior schools.

‘While Headmistress, I was elected by other Heads to the Committee of the Catholic Independent Schools Conference (CISC). I also served as governor for six years each at two prestigious UK senior schools.

‘The Rose Partnership was born out of the desire to help
families place their children in the best schools, and as a result to enable young people to flourish – thanks to an outstanding education in a school that is well suited to their individual talents and needs.

‘The positive feedback I received from families I assisted and the pleasure of hearing how pupils I placed had excelled in their new schools, becoming leaders in their years and going on to top universities, showed me that this was an area in which I could make a real difference.

‘I was also an overseas parent myself in East Asia, so I particularly understand the challenges faced in placing children in UK schools from overseas and want to help other families benefit from my extensive experience. I am devoted to matching children with opportunities that will enable them to reach their full potential.’
